Loki seemed to know that and came and cuddled with us while we watched a movie. Lancelot never cuddles us like this, but Loki is quite the cuddler. I am hoping he makes a quick recovery, but he is seriously sick, so maybe just keep him in your thoughts if you get a chance. He hadn’t come around for a couple of days so it makes sense that he hadn’t been feeling all that well. He had a very high temperature, was dehydrated and has some sort of pest. Part of the reason I specifically wanted to update is because I heard from Mr. I always try to capture good moments from our daily lives with Lancelot and Loki to share. I promise though, that I haven’t stopped taking pictures. Sorry it’s been a long time since I updated here. Today we went to pick up Lancelot to take him to the new house, and of course Loki was there to see us off. We knew that eventually we would have to move and therefore say goodbye to Loki, but it’s easier to think of as a future-problem than a today-problem. Today was our last day at our old apartment. We were surprised to fairly quickly find a bigger apartment that we loved and our offer was accepted. There was very little room for our son to play (plus there was only one bedroom), so expanding was next on the agenda. Lancelot and I were overjoyed to learn in March that we are expecting our second child, but it had become more and more clear that our current apartment was way too small. Steve jutted his chin into the air, looking ahead stubbornly. “Don’t be afraid,” Loki said, sounding as if he stood so close, but there was nothing be seen, “I need your help as much as you need mine.” However, there was a hum of magic present that had not been there before. He had held his own against Loki before, so now should not be different. Steve gripped his shield a little tighter, keeping it pressed close to his body as a form of protection. “And you are not Asgardian,” Steve answered, speaking out into the hollow of the void that stretched around him, lights dimming with every passing second, “Not entirely.”Ī low chuckle vibrated through the walls, coming from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Steve could hear him, feel him, the thrill of moving mass settling like a rumble in his chest, and the hum of energy floating through the air to pierce his ears. There was little to be seen, nothing more than a shadow on the wall, and a flicker in the corner of his eye. “You are not quite like the rest of them, are you?” ![]() His voice was low like a whisper, but smooth like the purr of an oiled machine, perfectly to be heard echoing through the abandoned hallways.
